  • Southwest Medical Associates Clinic on Charleston/Rancho has nurses and appointment setters that are rude and unprofessional. They almost always schedule you with a NP because their doctors are booked out for months and take 2 minutes to give you an exam. It's a rush/hush type of environment during the appointment, a lot of random typing on their laptops , and boom! You've been seen. It took 30 days for me to have the correct ICD 9 codes put on a referral for a sleep study. Another time I was referred to a specialist that long since retired and even his office didn't know what to tell me to get a new appointment with a different provider in their office. They didn't even care. Candy Lin, APN is the absolute worst and extremely incompetent! She used improper ICD9 codes on my referrals causing them to be rejected numerous times, she never returned calls, nor did she understand many of my existing medical conditions for proper treatment. I always leave SMA and return a few years later thinking it will get better. No way. The Henderson location is nice but Tenaya, although clean is meh : /
