| - J and I came here for fancy dinner night tonight. We called around 6:30 to make a reservation, and were able to make one for 7:30. Parking can be tight on the main road, however we lucked out and got one right across the street. It's a small bistro, however they managed to give it a bigger feel with the decor, separation between the bar area and dining area, and the open windows. Our waitress was really great. The accommodated my peanut allergy better than any other restaurant we've been to. Both our waitress and the manager checked on us to reassure us that nothing had nuts and he substituted bread that he can guarantee wasn't processed in a facility that also had nuts! So nice to be taken care of like that! I had a glass of wine, the salmon sliders and sweet potato fries to start, while J had the cheese plate w/o nuts. J's plate came with both an apricot spread and honey, and were delicious. The cucumber dill on my salmon sliders was pretty good. For our entrees, J had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and carrots ( he didn't want the asparagus). I had sesame crusted salmon with ginger basmati rice and green beans. Both of our meals were so good! We cleaned our plates, which is rare for us as we both tend to take food home. We were full, but didn't want to stop eating because everything was delicious! For dessert, we had ice cream. J had two scoops of chocolate and I had one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of salted caramel. The salted caramel was so good! All in all, the bill came to about $100 which isn't bad considering all the stuff we ate. The best part for us was that all of their ingredients come from local sources. We definitely recommend coming here!
