  • Let me tell you a story these guys tried to screw me over by telling me a rat ate the engine wiring harness on a 2014 Azure. they already replaced the wire harness one time and put it on the insurance because it was not covered under the warranty then it happened again so I went to check it out. It had 2 cut wires going to the engine coolant sensor and they claim it happened two times well this wire was not chewed it was not frayed there was no signs of rodents anywhere there was no sign of rodents in the garage and our previous Hyundai was parked in that same garage for 10 years without any issues. So this wiring harness that they want to replace because of two chewed wires they want to replace the whole harness and it costs $4000 and this is how stupid the mechanic is or how stupid he thinks I am he tells me that this wiring harness contains a fiber optic cable which I did the research it does not. So they refused to repair the second one. you could see that somebody had cut the wires right at the sensor connector. I contacted Hyundai directly they also refused to solve the problem only because Hyundai superstore told them it was chewed. The first time it was chewed it was 5 inches up the cable from the connector and it wasn't chewed once again it was a perfect cut I want to know what rat goes in your engine and simply does a perfect slice into a wire then leaves everything else alone. And the funny part is the car was there prior to this for an oil change and after her oil change the engine light came on they claim it was the sensor they fixed it engine light came on again they went in they said they fixed it engine light came on a second time and now we are at the point were they said a rat chewed the wires. I can also tell you by the paint pen indicator marks on the wire harness connectors They never replaced the harness the first time when they changed my insurance $4000. These people took advantage of us everybody I showed the pictures to said there is no way that this was chewed by rodent I basically went and picked up the car I found the connector to the sensor for five dollars online and crimped it on and the car works fine and no Rodents to be found. Very suspicious we go in for the first oil change and the problem started after that the car ran perfectly fine for one year I can't believe these guys it's unbelievable how they try and screw people and I guess the ratings on yelp aren't that good for that place either.
