  • My husband & I headed out one chilly Saturday night to check out the Distillery Light Festival. We stumbled across this place and decided to check this new place out. THE DRINK- They distill vodka, gin, whiskey and aquavit (Scandinavian spiced spirit). We tried a tasting flight of all 4. The aquavit was quite interesting and had a unique flavour profile. I could tell how it would taste good in the right kind of cocktail. The vodka was good but not as smooth as I would have liked. It didn't burn right off the bat but gave us a delayed burning aftertaste a minute or two after drinking. I'm not a big whiskey or gin person but I did find they tasted very rich & natural. THE SPACE- This is a beautiful space. It's clear they spent a lot of time, money and thought on the decor. From the chandeliers made out of their custom liquor bottles and the botanicals growing above the bar, the details a?l come together beautifully. Would be a great place for an event or private party. THE SERVICE- The bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. Our flight was only supposed to include 3 spirits and she threw in the aquavit for free. They also have a bottle shop where you can buy their liquor & swag.
