  • I don't usually write reviews, so here goes! Our family is a fan of this vet. The office is clean, they take you in right away in an emergency, always seem to accommodate my (sometimes labor-intensive) requests, and this is just in reference to the front office staff! Our Dr. is five stars as well! Dr. Abraham has been nothing but kind, compassionate, and understanding during our more serious visits. Let me start by saying, we've been with this office for 11 years. Every dog we've owned has come here. We started out seeing Dr. Tawny (who long ago started her own practice), then whoever was available considering we were only there for shots. It wasn't until this past November (2014), that we had begun seen Dr. Abraham exclusively. Our sweet Cocker Spaniel, Ginger (had developed a cough that kept progressing), and we were given a month with her on medications that made her comfortable. This was a month we didn't expect to have because of her end-stage cancer diagnosis. I grew up on a farm, and have enough experience to know when an animal is suffering and only hanging on for their owners....That last month, with her on medication to remedy her symptoms, was irreplaceable. Then she gave me "the look", and I knew it was time. I couldn't have imagined her last moments under more compassionate care than Dr. Abraham's. His kindness, and professionalism were evident, and so much appreciated... Exactly 4 months later, Ginger's partner was diagnosed with severe dementia. By the 5 month mark, he had become like a light switch, sometimes bright and full of love. Other times, the light was dim, and he could hardly recognize us, or our other dogs. It had come to a point, where, for everyone's safety, it was necessary that he cross the rainbow bridge too. Dr. Abraham kindly guided him along to meet his best friend. Please know that even though we were, and still are, heartbroken from these losses, we couldn't have imagined a more peaceful end to their long lives, or a more caring soul to have helped us through it all. It seems many reviewers are either thrilled with this office, or can't rate it low enough. I understand there can be a long wait, in this case we try to schedule "first appointment" with our vet of choice. This takes care of the waiting in most cases. I am all too aware of what it's like to wait in a vet's office, with three dogs, and four kids in-tow! Hopefully this helps!
