Just a heads up, if you are looking to stay here or have a loved one stay here for recuperation - this is NOT a pet friendly establishment.
This place is always on the list of skilled nursing facilities that the local hospitals refer people to, because the care model is once the hospital thinks you're relatively out of danger and you just need to be looked after in bed till you recover (like with broken legs or hips or post-surgical) then you need to go to one of these places. I have family and friends who've needed these services so I'm familiar with several decent places in the area. Come to find out, this one does NOT allow visits from family pets. I found this out while going through the places on the list I was given from the hospital for my family member to stay.
This is in direct contrast to at least two other places in the immediate vicinity that let the cat or dog come in for visits as long as it has the current immunization record. One of these other places, my family member stayed before and had visits from her cats, and the others we visited friends who were staying and saw that their dog or cat was allowed to come in. So do NOT put anybody who is an animal lover in Ennis Court, especially an elderly person! I called to ask questions and found this out from discussing with the lady on the phone, who was also pretty curt about it sorry to say. Apparently they only have one resident dog who's allowed to visit.
I was really surprised to find this out because I'm familiar with at least two other similar places really close by that welcome visits from pets and it's very hard on a person in their 70s or 80s who is laid up for 2 months and can't see their best animal friend. I know my mom would get so depressed.
