  • This was a dinner for my 65th birthday with my wife, so we really were looking forward to an excellent Italian dinner. Unfortunately our experience was far less than enjoyable. My wife ordered a veal Marcella, which she has enjoyed at many Italian restaurants. This dish at Tesoro tasted like the pepper shaker got dumped on top of her food. It almost tasted like a curry dish. My wife hardly ate any of the meal. She said it was the worst veal Marcella that she ever had. We talked with our waitress about the issues with the meal, but the only thing she did was buy one of ur glasses of wine. Any quality establishment would gave removed the meal from our bill. The rest of our meal was unexciting. It took forever to even get our order. We will not be going back to Tesoro any time soon. The worst part, my wife blames herself for choosing this restaurant for my birthday. It was not her fault. Stone and Vine in Scottsdale is much much better.
