| - The options were Del Frisco's or Ramsay's Steak @ Paris. I chose Del Frisco because of its $99 Power Couple deal.
I opentabled the restaurant for dinner to save time. We self-parked but the valet guy ran to the door and opened it for us.
$99 Power Couple is only for Sunday. We ordered caesar salad, del salad, filet, crabcake, sauteed mushroom, chateau potato, chocolate mousse and bread pudding.
Sesame bread: complimentary hot bread and butter. Warning: do not eat too much of these!!! You will be full. I ate 2 slices of bread because they were yum but occupied a portion of my stomach =(
Caesar salad: One of the freshest caesar salads I've ever had.
Del salad: Served with 2 stripes of bacon on top, this is better than caesar salad.
Filet: The medium rare is rare and the medium is medium rare. The worker asked us to cut the filet to make sure it is cooked just the way we liked it. We sent it back to the kitchen because they seemed to be undercooked for our liking. The filet is superb!! Ruth Chris got nothing on Del Frisco.
Crabcakes: very lumpy but I don't really care for it.
Sauteed mushroom: juicy and perfectly cooked but I don't care for it either.
Chateau potato: it's just okay...I've had better.
I was so full that I didn't even finish my steak...what a waste!!! I was so tempted to doggy-bag my steak leftover and eat it in my room.
Bread pudding: crispy on the outside with ice cream, caramel drizzle and mint leaf on top. I don't really like it.
Chocolate mousse: the most creative design with fork and spoon shadows from cocoa powder. I like this chocolate mousse better than the bread pudding.
My waiter, Matt (?), is super funny. How many people worked there that night? We have the hostess, waiter, the person who brought the salad, busboy, steak delivery boy, 2 side dishes workers, the girl who picked up empty bottle, napkin folder girl, the guy who gave me direction to the restroom....all different people.
4 stars!! I am a fan of its delicious steak.
Del Frisco is yummylicious!!
