Was in the area and had a craving for a burger. Had heard a lot about this place so drove in to try it out
We arrived a bit after the lunch rush and stood at the host stand for at least 6 or 7 minutes and were never acknowledged. Lots of staff walked by but not one hello or be right with you.
There were a fair amount of patrons but several empty tables. The bar was empty so we ducked over there and sat ourselves.
Sorry but as soon as I see a burger for 10 bucks my expectations go up, it better be a damn good burger. (BTW we are not cheap or poor lol).
Anyway we ordered the cheddar burger (with imported cheddar according to the menu) and the burger salad.
Bottom line is that the meal was ok, the meat was not very juicy and a bit over cooked. The cheddar was not very flavorful either. Fries were a bit soft and somewhat greasy. The pickle on my plate looked like it was stepped on and there was a handful of shredded carrots garnishing the plate that were so dried out they looked like paper, sliced tomatoes were green and under ripe.
Meat on the salad was about the same, on a ton of iceberg lettuce Ok dressing.
All in all not worth the money, but not terrible. Might give it a try again but for $30+ with no alcohol for a couple of burgers I expected a lot better.
