| - In desperate need of a pedicure (and why not add on a manicure as well,) I booked an appointment with Krista. Despite showing up a few minutes late, she was not ready for me when I arrived, mostly an observation rather than a bother.
The painting for both the pedicure and manicure was sub-par at best, markedly uneven, but I stayed optimistic that it would dry well. I was also put off by the lack of autoclaving, let alone the brief washing the "cheese grater" and pumice received. Gross. Dodging the wires underneath the table so as not to ruin the pedicure was a challenge, and you can imagine my surprise when dust had to be brushed off the fan to dry my nails (although, in hindsight the overall condition of the nail salon made this much less shocking.)
I ended up removing the nail polish a few hours after, and should have done the same with my toes. The nails are cut/filed unevenly, and despite allowing for about six hours before donning shoes, my toes were completely ruined.
All in all, a complete waste of $60.
