  • We returned to the Barrymore again this time. The food is very good (warning, if you get the cold seafood platter, it's a bit skimpy - even with an appetizer and dessert - might want to go to the large portion even if there are only 2 of you). Really great decor. Such a hidden gem (the Royal Resort hotel is a simple, out of the way place). While the food is definitely good, it's the service that really grabs you at this place and pushes things to 5 stars. My wife and I really enjoyed talking to the General Manager last Saturday night. He was VERY attentive and made sure everything was perfect. He even took back a whole bottle of wine just after we ordered it because it wasn't to our satisfaction. Small and quaint. Just very different and a great place for couples. Thank you, Barrymore. Two for two! Keep up the great work!
