  • Although our waitress was very nice, the whole place seemed incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of people in the restaurant (it wasn't even that many). After we ordered, the waitress came out to tell us and many other people it would be a 20-25 minute wait which in an airport restaurant is crazy because usually people are in a rush. Luckily, we had just enough time to wait for the food, eat it, and go straight to the gate. The saving grace was the food was good - I had a caesar salad and my fiancĂ© had the pulled pork sandwich because I said he HAD to try Carolina BBQ. We also had a couple of beers - he stuck with the local IPAs (he's a huge IPA drinker) and liked them both but definitely the double IPA more. All in all, we would probably check out a different restaurant next time we're in the Charlotte airport... preferably one who can handle the amount of people in a timely manner.
