| - I started coming to Euphoria after moving to Henderson. It's very convenient from where I live. After meeting Nicole (my hairdresser) I started coming back, because she is truly amazing. Unfortunately my schedule was never colliding with her schedule so I decided to stop by one day and try a different hair dresser. The receptionist wanted to assign me to a hairdresser (a guy with long hair) and he looked me and started shaking his head to the receptionist as in "NO". I felt so humiliated and discriminated against. I don't know what was it in my appearance that he hated so much, but I left the salon and cried in my car because I had never felt so bad. I am a hard-working immigrant woman, and I do my best to treat people with dignity and respect, and I must say people give that same respect back to me, but this place really shook my confidence. I went in a month later and tried to explain the incident and the girl in the reception said "he is not like that at all, I don't know what happened." I guess an apology would have been nice, but oh well, I hope they learn the principle of respect and kindness sometimes soon.
--UPDATE--3/20/2018
I called today to speak to the manager as suggested by the response from Euphoria. It turned out the person I spoke with, to begin with (the girl in the reception) was the manager. The manager, Nicole, said that the gentleman who rolled his eyes at me just didn't have time. I wish I never called because instead of admitting that indeed I was treated unfairly, she went on to defend the guy and say that he simply didn't have time. HE DID HAVE TIME. When I was being assigned to him I was told: "he has a time slot available." I usually let things go, but this experience has really affected me and I really hope nobody else gets to experience what I did.
