rev:text	I brought my girlfriend here to look at the 2007 Nissan Xterra they have for sale that she was interested in. For the most part, my experience was exactly what you would expect from a secondary credit type dealership - you know, the place you go when your credit is less than admirable. Not much in the way of salesmanship, quick in-and-out type service. Which again...not too bad, its better than being beaten with embellishments. But let me warn all interested parties, please do your research on vehicles and please have someone with you who knows vehicles well. Upon starting the Xterra I noticed a very distinct whine in the engine compartment. Drove a couple miles and I pulled over to check it out. I couldn't pinpoint a pulley, and the whine didn't adjust in frequency as a power steering pump whine would. It remains consistent. Turns out, according to the Nissan service bulletin NTB09-128, this whine is a common issue relating to the timing chain. All in all, its about a $2000 fix. And its a necessity to have fixed, not something ignorable. Here becomes my real issue.... Upon mentioning this to one of the men who worked there, he had the audacity to tell me that it was "probably because you're just not use to driving it" and something along the lines of "all cars make different noises and you're just not use to this one." I am paraphrasing, mind you, but he tried to sell me this idea after mentioning that I supervise at a car wash that moves 20,000 cars a month. I'm in and out of cars for 11 hours a day. Additionally, I have torn down and rebuilt my fair share of engines, enough to know a bad sound when I hear it. And to top it all off, after losing our interest, they had the audacity to call my girlfriends WORK to ask her if she wanted the car still. For a salesman who does this day in and day out, that is not an honest mistake, that is harrasment. That lack of professionalism is pathetic, at best. Don't do business with these people. There ARE good dealerships out there for those with lower credit, this is not one.
