The food was good and healthy but, the portion sizes are very skimpy for the high price you will pay. Plus, you will pay a premium and might not get enough to eat and you might not receive great service. Based on my experience, I received poor service from the moment I walked in the entrance of True Food Kitchen. The hostess was very rude and had an unpleasant and ugly attitude. It was shocking to encounter a hostess at a restaurant at Biltmore Fashion Park with a nasty attitude. The hostess had clearly not been trained about how to provide good hospitality. She set the pace for the rest of the unpleasant dining experience. A host or hostess should be pleasant, friendly, courteous, respectful and polite. None of these qualities were exhibited by the hostess at True Food Kitchen. I expressed my concerns with the manager and he did not seem very concerned about the issues. It is very disappointing to visit a restaurant that seems like it should provide great service with good food and to encounter poor service instead. It is not acceptable for a restaurant to charge a premium price for food and to offer substandard service. I am not satisfied with the type of service I received and I want to let others know about it. There are many other great restaurants you should try instead of this one.
