  • I used Discount Tire back in North Carolina so I knew I'd be in their system & they'd check & rotate my tires for free. I hate going to mechanics (as a woman) almost as much as I hate going to the dentist. However, my "low tire pressure" alert came on two days in a row so it was a necessity. The guy who helped me showed me exactly what was wrong with my tire (a screw) and how the tread keeps it from being patchable. When I told him I couldn't afford to buy a new tire for a couple weeks, he went out of his way to loan me a tire and keep me on the road. I didn't pay a dime & I'll definitely be back to purchase my new tire(s) from them in the future.
