  • Highly recommend! I love that this center is math specific, and that the same staff are there each week. They offer a very friendly, safe, and professional atmosphere. If your child is struggling or you just want them to get ahead in math to have confidence, this will be worth every minute and dollar spent. Here's our success story currently in progress - my high school senior is in Calculus 1. After the first 4 weeks of school this year, she was getting a fat F - a 55% in the class. Not wanting to give up since it is a class that also counts as college credit, we decided to sign her up for homework help through Mathnasium. She attends 90 minute sessions, approx. 2 days a week (you can elect to go more or less). After 2 sessions, we noticed an immediate improvement in her ability to successfully complete the homework. They really take the time to explain the problems to her in a way that she understands and will be able to apply on her homework and tests. Fast forward through 6 weeks of homework help, in addition to a couple hours each night studying at home, she now just got an 86% on her midterm exam and has brought her overall grade up to an 84% with half of the semester still remaining. This is success if you ask me! My daughter's attitude towards her class has skyrocketed. The confidence she has gained through this process is indescribable. Not only is my daughter going to pass the class, she is learning a valuable lesson about not giving up and finding a way to persevere. I'm very appreciative of what Mathnasium has done/will continue to do for her.
