However, who made up a rule that said all women are cardio bunnies?
There are way more options for cardio here than for weights.
Of course, they have the obligatory strength training machines (and, to be fair, I saw a few women using those), but they have only ONE squat cage, with one olympic bar. No bench press setup.
They do have a bunch of dumbells, but again, nowhere *near* the variety or even the weight I'd expect to have available at a gym.
I suppose most of the women who come in here are into "toning, not bulking up". Meh.
Pluses? It's not crowded. It's *very* clean. I love that they have pitchers of lemon-infused water available.
For my workouts, I guess I'll be heading back to the "real gym" over at 137 Yonge instead ... this place is a nice one to relax in, but I prefer building up a real sweat.
