| - I've been meaning to write a review for Paradigm Performance Auto for a few years now - just never got around to it. Now that i've had four
different services from them (water pump, oil filter housing gasket, battery/coding, suspension), I feel i'm able to give an accurate read on this business.
Through word-of-mouth, I heard about Leslie, his service and his commitment to customer satisfaction, and decided to try him out.
That was several years ago, and in that time I have been back a few times as needed.
Leslie is a true professional and takes pride in his work and his business.
His garage is clean and tidy; equipment is modern, high-end Snap-On throughout ; customer waiting area is new & very clean & comfortable with clear views of theentire garage.
During a previous visit (new battery & coding) I made some notes which i'll copy/paste below to give you an idea of Leslie's work-ethic:
-arrived without an appointment and he fit me in
-provided me with print out of the old battery's diagnostic,
-provided me with print out of the new battery's diagnostic...all unsolicited
-while leslie drove my car into the garage, he detected a suspension issue which I knew about but had not informed him.
He then placed my car on a hoist and explained the issue and options
-identified a potential brake issue which I had missed
-i requested a quote for the identified issues and leslie printed out separate detailed quotes for both the suspension work and brake job, which helped me prioritize jobs, without any pressure or expectation that I would take action on any of the above
-wrote in the details of my battery warranty for each of year 1, 2 and 3+ on the invoice, to eliminate any uncertainty in the future
During my last visit (sway bar end links and bushings), he clearly explained the work that would need to be performed, and demonstrated
movement in the end links which was symptomatic of the worsening issue. Replacement was done in a timely manner and I appreciated
little details and nice touches like placing protective paper floor mat protectors in the car, and giving my car a wash prior to pick-up.
TL;DR
Basically, I'm very satisfied with the service i've received from Leslie (Paradigm Performance Auto) and I would not hesitate in recommending him to others.
When people ask me if I know of a Good Honest Mechanic, I am lucky enough to know three. Leslie is one of them.
