Dean's was nothing special. I guess the location on Dean Martin Drive and the one picture of Dean Martin in the entryway are what makes it "Dean's" Place.
It's billed as an Italian restaurant; there's Italian aplenty (chicken piccata, eggplant parm, Italian sausage sandwich, etc.) but there's a lot of American influence as well (burgers, pulled pork). The food is fine, portions are a good size, and the prices are reasonable.
The service is slooooooooooooooow. The restaurant was nowhere near busy the night we were there, but it took our server forever and a day to bring our drinks. I thought she'd gotten lost on the way to our table. A couple that was seated fifteen minutes after we were received their food ten minutes before we did.
There are several TVs in this place, all playing sports, so it feels more like a sports bar than a restaurant.
