I'm still on the fence about this dental office. I too came here based on the amazing reviews but so far am not sure why the reviews are so fantastic, mostly due to the billing department.
I'm in the process of having a dental implant and a whole set of veneers. I called today very angry after I received a past due notice of only $30 when I was just there 2 weeks ago and nothing was ever said about a balance and at my last visit I paid over $800 for my implant crown. When I called today the girl told me "oh you can ignore that notice, we were waiting on an insurance payment". I told her I don't appreciate getting past due notices when I was never even given a bill. Furthermore, at my last visit they overcharged me $400 because they had me pay my portion and my insurance company's portion. After I got home I reviewed my policy and called the office to say they overcharged me. They didn't seemed concerned and nonchalantly said I will have a credit when my insurance payment is received. As far as I know, they aren't supposed to have a patient pay the insurance company's portion up front. So I would be aware that they do this here.
I also have 2 dental insurances so I shouldn't be paying that much out of pocket. I saw that my policy limit for the year is almost maxed out but they decided to rush to do the implant crown early (before normal healing time after surgery) and there isn't quite enough left on my policy limit to pay the entire portion the insurance company would normally pay. When I told the girl this she said they only bill insurance as a courtesy and it's not their job to verify if your insurance has remaining benefits for the procedures they are doing. My policy starts over at the beginning of next month so the entire insurance amount would have been paid if they waited 3 weeks but they wanted to do the crown earlier than standard time and didn't bother to check my insurance benefits.
As for the actual dental work. The dental assistant I've had is super friendly although at my last visit she accidentally pulled off one of my other crowns when she was taking molds of my teeth for the new implant crown. Dr. Aseem did a good job filing 2 of my bottom teeth and also a good job with the implant surgery. I was really nervous about surgery. It felt a little awkward and uncomfortable but didn't hurt like I thought it would.
I left my last dentist that had already started the implant procedure because I was afraid he wasn't qualified as a "cosmetic dentist" and I wanted the implant done correctly and look like a real tooth (I hate fake looking teeth). However, with all these billing issues I'm not sure it was a good idea to switch. This office seems to charge much higher prices but I'll wait to see the outcome of my implant to decide if it was worth it.
