  • Confusion from the start! Booked a lake view room and was told it was going to be ready at 5 pm. We went to the club lounge, which was the best thing about the hotel for an hour and forty five minutes to come back to more confusion. Was told room wasn't ready yet but after three employees looked and now my lake view room was ready. Got to the room and my lake view room was the Fifth Third building after calling the front desk my room was given to someone else and I was given a $50 credit. Ok, that is handled. Upon check out the folio, was very confusion and my card was charged upon check in $246.71 and an additional $115 for incidentals. So my final bill is over $270 for some reason and they assure me that all the credits will be issued and holds will fall off in three to four days. We will see!! Not sure I would recommend the Westin, plus after being locked in the garage because no attendants on Sunday, I found my own way out after waiting on the rent a cops for over 15 mins and no one! Will go to the ALoft again before the Westin.
