  • This place was recommended to my husband. He left our date night a surprise. The entrance is totally awesome! The vibe of the restaurant is nice. We had Jeremy as our server. We ordered a beer and Dino's dirty martini. I love a good dirty martini.. and I mean dirty, like swampy dirty. Drinks came out, color of my martini was on point. Took a sip and it was straight olive juice. Told Jeremy about it, he came back and said "it was made by our new bartender, she said its a 6 count but you can order a side shot if you want." I gave him the drink back. Our calamari and caprese were delivered. Calamari was delicious. Caprese had a good flavor but the price is way too high for what you are served. $13.95 for 3 slices of tomatoes, 3 slices of mozzarella and 3 basil leaves is a little steep. My husband ordered the nightly special, porter house with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies for $49.95. I ordered the "Chef swims with the fish" .. it was listed as Jumbo shrimp with sundried tomatoes, creamy garlic sauce with pasta for $26.95 .. We were served a dinner salad with creamy garlic dressing which had a great taste to it. At this point I was still wanting a dirty martini, I ordered another Dino's dirty but asked for the olive juice on the side. This was night and day! This was a damn good drink! Jeremy said he had another bartender make it this time. Our entree is delivered. Porterhouse came out great. Cooked perfectly. The pasta dish had a good taste but there were only 5 shrimp in the entire dish. I was disappointed at that since the menu said Jumbo and these were about the size of a half dollar coin. They offer a military discount, 10% off food (not alcohol) which is common. Our bill was $126.80 before tax. We had $21.00 in alcohol. He brought back our new bill, the 10% discount was $6.88 .. common math shows that does not add up. I understand that a military discount is a privilege and it's greatly appreciated but at least make sure it adds up to the amount you state. We paid our bill and left. Overall experience: Pretty good, few hiccups but nothing to deter us from returning. Will we return: Probably Satisfied with prices: Ehh.. not really, they are on the high side but I guess you are paying for the vibe too.
