If you've had rolled ice cream before, you will be disappointed here. I was actually excited for this place to open since I frequent Mekong plaza and I've seen the construction. I don't know the recipe for the ice cream but it was very hard! It makes me think that there the recipe is diluted with milk (versus cream) which results in a very firm consistency...that, or the rolling platform is too cold. The funny part is that I love firm ice cream. I hate when ice cream is mushy. So, if I say it is hard, it is hardddddd. I have carpal tunnel and let's just say that scooping the ice cream from the cup didn't help the situation (I seriously do have carpal tunnel).
I got the matcha flavor which includes blueberries and green tea Pocky. The guy serving us was literally counting how many blueberries he was placing on the ice cream (it was 7 to be exact). Also, the green tea flavor was super faint. Blah.
I really wanted to like it but I ended up #disappointed.
