  • Perfect location, excellent service and amazing room for the price. This was our second time staying at Le Place d'Armes and we had absolutely no complaints. The prices are fantastic in the winter (yes, it's cold - it's Montreal so that's to be expected). Our room this time had a fireplace and a gorgeous view. The valets are extremely helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out is a breeze. The attached restaurant has a very nice menu. Where else can you get mini reindeer burgers, sweet meats and frog legs? Very quiet too (aside from the usual street noise which much like the weather is to be expected). A really great starting point to explore downtown areas with plenty of shopping, public transportation and interesting restaurants within walking distance. It's definitely our place to stay at all future Montreal trips!
