  • CROOKS AND SHYSTERS..! Discount tires once represented a decent brand. However this particular location on jones and Tropicana has seemed to fall in the hands of LANE and his band of 40 thieves! They have a SCAM going or you can call it a tactic... So they're offering a free air pressure check station and marketing it with signage,cones and all. My rear passenger side tire was low so I went in for air Tuesday afternoon and employee Joe provided free air and notified me that there was a nail and it was in a repairable place luckily and that the store offers free flat repair. So he suggested I make an appointment which I did for Wednesday and when I got to my appointment that's when they put the sharks in the water (Mgr LANE) approached me and insisted on the inspection which I expected followed by a sales pitch of course to purchase a set of tires. So I had prepared a story of how I couldn't afford to purchase new tires in advance! He did his pitch I rebuttal he turned up the heat and offered a used tire from around back! Of course I declined because there was nothing wrong with my tire and It was repairable (Joe can confirm that he inspected my tire the previous day) so once employee lane realized I wasn't buying a tire he made a excuse that my particular brand of tire they're not allowed to fix my flat and asked me to leave basically and wasted my time and appointment! So what a sleazy location and management at this store shame on discount tires as a brand...I do not recommend doing business here if you must use this chain THIS IS A TERRIBLE LOCATION
