| - I'm going to try to be fair in this review.
To start off, the address listed on Yelp is not accurate. The reason people haven't been able to show up and make an appointment is because "Whitening Xpressions" has moved to 3225 W Ray Rd in Chandler.
They rent a tiny room in "L'Mage" beauty salon, so Whitening Xpressions doesn't have its name anywhere on the building. The room is probably around 12x12 feet, and you're laying down right next to two other people (so it's a little awkwardly crammed, unless you like sardines).
The friendly individual working there gave me vitamin E. oil to apply to my gums and lips. I don't think I did an adequate job I the bottom gums, but I'll get to that later.
In the past I have used whitening strips for my teeth, but they ALWAYS hurt my teeth and gums so badly that I can only use them for half of their intended time. Then my teeth are extra sensitive to cold and airflow. However, their gel and light combo really didn't hurt at all! Such a relief!
I do have some residual sensitivity, but nothing TOO bad. My bottom front gums look and feel like they've been burned, but they said that was normal.
Make sure to bring an iPod or something to listen to during the procedure.
Scheduling an appointment with this place was a nightmare. I called both numbers listed on their website and the "groupon" site multiple times. They never once answered the phone, so I left multiple messages over the course of a month. I even emailed them through their website but never got a reply. Only after I made a complaint to "groupon" did they call me back.
They upgraded me to their "advanced" whitening gel because one of their chairs broke and they had to reschedule me.
As far as results go, I do notice that the areas between my teeth are significantly whiter than they were before. My teeth were pretty white to begin with, so the large surface areas didn't change much if at all. I used a groupon, but I probably won't be going back. I certainly wouldn't pay hundreds of dollars to go in regularly.
