  • And once again back to garbage service! It's like you have to contact upper management to get anything close to good service from these guys! Few days ago I called in to get 4 tires mounted and balanced with alignment. The rep tells me the day I'm ready to call and make sure they can fit me in, no problem. The rep on the phone also says about $209 with a $20 coupon she will give me. So a few days later I get a flyer in the mail and a coupon for $50 services $199+. So I'm thinking great I can use this one instead. The day of work comes, I call in and tell them I will be there in 30 minutes, rep says great see you then. I arrive ready to go and a female rep now tells me I will need to wait an hour, uh what?! So thankfully the rep over the phone was there as he said "no we are getting him in right away". Thankfully. I also knew my back brakes were bad, and that the right rear shock had come loose or something (they installed it 2 years ago mind you) - so I asked for them to check on these items. After the rep helping me can't get help her self she just adds the $50 off coupon, but few minutes later they inform me this is for services and not alignment. Uh, alignment is a service, this isn't a part I just take with me guys! Either way they discount my mount and balance and I end up paying less. No biggie. Now the fun, the mechanic working on my car acknowledges something is loose in my suspension, doesn't' know what but says something in knocking around. However he can't fix it unless they charge me, and from looking at the over priced quote on the rear brakes their labor rate is $110 an hour. I pass on the brakes which would be over $330, where I can do them myself and the parts alone (pads+rotors) would be just $107, and this is for StopTech while the shops parts are the "least expensive" they can order. So a mechanic admits there is something loose with the suspension but still does an alignment. What's the point if there is an issue then? I ask for a print out of the alignment and it's not available I'm I'm told it will take a while for him to go back and get it. Yet the rep helping me has the nerve to ask me to sign a paper saying the supplied "excellent service today" - FUCK NO! I have my brakes here to do myself, I found the loose top hat in the rear suspension myself, so once all said and done I will go back to realign as they say they have a "6 month warranty" but I feel something is gonna void that. Let's hope the honor the $45 synthetic oil change too.
