  • I have lived at Denim Scottsdale for about a month and a half, and thus far my first impression is good. Maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner - I had a few issues in my apartment and I can rest assured due to the kindness of the maintenance staff and the urgency to get these work orders completed. They also ask you every time if Maintenance is authorized to enter; I appreciate the continued respect of my space. Additionally, the leasing office team has been very helpful with addressing my concerns as well, particularly Brad does an excellent job at replying to emails, and resolving issues as soon as humanly possible. Milosz, Grover, Brenda, and Yolanda are great as well! (Don't want to leave anyone out :) ) Great price to live in such an area as Scottsdale, near Old Town. However, I will admit - I was upset to find out that there is a $30-$50 charge for you to use your debit or credit card to pay your rent. I understand a menial charge, but not only is this very high - this needs to be told to every tenant EVERY lease signing, every time. I was signing my lease for over an hour and this was not mentioned to me once. I hope that staff will exercise due diligence to make sure we all know when and how we could be charged. Not a huge deal, simply because the e-check works flawlessly and posts on the date that you make your payment. I also enjoy receiving informative text messages about property concerns, as well as printed letterhead to inform us of entry into our apartment. There is a dog park, they collect your packages from USPS, so you do not have to worry about your items sitting waiting to be stolen, etc. UPS may be something different, i'm not sure. Went to the East pool over the weekend, and its nice! They have pillows on the chairs and it was very clean. Hoping for a jacuzzi though! Looking forward to the coming grounds improvements, resort style pool, lap pool, side open gates at all entrances, and package locker room to come. Yet as it stands, I feel safe in this complex, and cared for by the staff. Provided that I have no issues in the future, I would definitely consider re-signing. Thanks for a good experience so far. We all know that I will let you know if anything changes. :)
