I had been to an American male once in the past when I had long hair, almost down to my back, and just got a trim so it seemed to work out well ( not much could have gone wrong). Now, years later, I have been getting an under cut at different barbers for awhile and wanted a change. I let my hair grow out to about 4 inches all around before getting the cut. I wanted the average cut of short on the side (around a 4) and longer and messy on top. What I got was a faux hawk. With barely any difference between the length on top and on the sides. The experience itself was great but the hair cut was nothing I couldn't have done myself. She didn't line up my side burns or around the ear, the back was uneven. The hair cut after tip was 75. From now on ill just stick to a barber.
