  • I attended a conference here last week and although the meeting room was nice and the staff were readily available for assistance, there were a few things I found disappointing. First of all, the continental breakfast that was served was presented beautifully and did have a wide variety of fresh cut fruit however, I'd be hard-pressed to believe that those were 'freshly baked breakfast pastries'. Not only did they appear to be store-bought, they also lacked flavour. Quite disappointing. During the meeting we could clearly hear construction, of some type, being done in (perhaps) an adjoining room. The sound of drilling was quite distracting during our keynote speaker. Upon arrival in the morning I ventured into the washroom to freshen up and was so disgusted by the odor, I had to leave. I heard later from others that the toilets weren't functioning properly and that everything was 'backed up' so-to-speak. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with this facility.
