  • They arrived within 30 minutes of my appointment and the technician was clean and professional. I have two AC units and the smaller one seemed to be taking a lot longer to cool. I had not had the units inspected for 5 years, and thought it may be low on freon (a slow leak or something). The technician checked out both units thoroughly and said that the freon levels are good on both and that there was no problem that he could find. The vents are putting out 18-20 degrees below ambient temperature and that's what's expected. He didn't try to upcharge or rush the call. Answered all of my questions. I was charged a fair price of $69.00 for the service call, and I was able to take advantage of a $70 for $40 dollar coupon through Yelp. $40.00 for peace of mind is a small price to pay. I will count on Cal Air for any future HVAC needs in the future.
