| - There are no words to express the frustration that I currently have with this place. After my first ok/good experience, I decided to go Sunday to get checked here for strep throat. After 2.5 hours of wait (YES 2.5 HOURS - even though it was supposedly a one hour wait with three people ahead) I found out I do have strep throat. I was ready to get over this experience - maybe it was a crazy weekend day. I decided Monday to give it another try and bring both my kids here for a check (strep and ears - my little one was complaining about pain for couple days). I checked them in, explained to them over the phone I don't wanna come and wait that long with them and they were understanding and indeed the wait was very reasonable. However, the visit was a joke. I paid $110 copay to be told my kids were healthy when they are not. The strep test came out negative they said and there's no infection in my daughter ear. No medication was given. Now, let me tell you about the strep test. Some guy walked in, barely put the swab in their mouth (I could tell because neither was bothered by the procedure or said anything, no funny face, nothing). Then the dude put BOTH tests on the table and eventually picked each up in a different hand, then put them both in the same hand and walked out. By the end I had no clue which swan belonged to whom and I am fairly positive neither did he. We came home very happy just to suffer for yet another night of crying toddlers all night. One with fever, the other one crying her ear hurt. I called in the morning their pediatrician and got them another appointment. Their doctor office confirmed strep throat for my son without even testing. The moment he opened his mouth they saw it right away. For my daughter they were not sure and a test was performed that came out negative. She did gag and cry when the swab test was done and definitely looked bothered by what just happened to her. On top of that... guess what? There was an ear infection too (what a surprise right?) my children started treatment with antibiotics and are finally getting better but I cannot express the frustration with this place. I would have never in this world could have imagined someone can mess up a freaking strep throat test?!? How can a professional not see an ear infection?!? I will contact the practice because I definitely want my money back and I am considering further action as well because if their "professionals" cannot diagnose and treat such minor issues I cannot even imagine how they treat anything more serious than that. I will definitely never ever in this lifetime set foot in there again
* UPDATE * I called as I was advised, someone clueless picked up, I asked for the manager and she said that would be her. I told her what happened and she said I'd get a call back. Later, she called that she passed the info further and an investigation will be done and i will get a call back. Never happened. I am expecting a full refund of my $110 or I will take it further with the bank and the insurance carrier and make legal complaints about the practices of this business.
