  • First let me say this is by far one of the best comic book stores I have ever been in. I live in Phoenix AZ and frequent Jesse's Comics. I have a subscription box here and he is from Vegas so he suggested I go here after asking for recommendations. Tons of high quality graded books, lots of back issues and hard to find books. I was in heaven. The decor is amazing and some killer figures. The way the graded books are displayed is awesome. I probably spent 45 min in here and could of spent another hour easily. So many hard to find books here. I can't say enough good things about this store. However there is a bad side to this visit and I'm really not sure how to handle it. I was over charged $40. I purchased 4 1997 deadpool 1st Series books and was charged for 6. I never thought to look at my bill as I have also purchased several other books. I didn't add it up. But tonight Sunday May 14th we returned from Vegas and I was excited to add the books to my collection when I actually compared the books I got to my receipt. Normally I would of caught the error but I never though in a million years I would of been over charged. I was still in browsing mode when I was rung up. My fault I guess. Kinda sucks because I could of bought more books but now I feel screwed living in Phoenix. For this error I'm only giving them a 3 Star. If they reach out to correct the issue I'll gladly change it to 5. I know they have record of what I bought because he wrote down the 4 books I purchased. Time will tell I guess. Update: After contacting the store to let them know my situation Rob the owner refunded me my money with no questions asked. He remembered me and apologized several times for the mis-understanding. His customer service was above and beyond and I could not be happier. I really didn't expect the situation to be resolved so easily and professionally. I was already in love with this store and now the rumors I heard about it really are true. This is truly one of the best comic book store on earth. Thanks Torpedo and Rob for the great books and resolving my issue. You have earned a customer for life and I will tell everyone about this store and it's excellent customer service.
