I have to pick A-Ok because I've never worked out any where else, just high school gym.
Yes, the sales staff I dealt with were VERY pushy.
I got roped into a personal trainer who, while being a great guy, didn't actually show me how to use much equipment. Now that my trainer sessions are over, I find myself at a loss as to how to work out.
Much equipment is in need of repairs, handle grips falling apart, seams on pads rubbing your skin raw. Out of Order signs all the time.
I find the majority of staff are rude or just ignore you.
Yes it's very busy, sometimes you can't find a mat to stretch and you can barely walk around the gym floor because of people everywhere.
The women's change room smells pretty bad.
The only reasons I go there are location and they have a daycare and most of the daycare staff are awesome, even though the hours for daycare are odd.
However, I won't be renewing my membership. I'd rather go elsewhere or buy a set of free weights and an elliptical.
