| - Dined in with my boyfriend tonight. Interior of this restaurant is very posh and upscale looking. It gives off a really nice atmosphere. Perfect for date nights! We came in around 6 PM on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy yet. But my boyfriend says how it's typically pretty busy on the weekends. In fact, on our way out, we noticed a DJ booth set up in the corner towards the front of the restaurant where the host stands were at.
Our server was Jackie tonight. She was so sweet and catered to all of our needs. She was on point with everything! She definitely gets 5 stars.
However, the food gets 4 stars. No complaints about wait time-- All of our food came out promptly. We ordered the sashimi deluxe and calamari as our appetizer. Sashimi was fresh. Calamari had a funny odor it gave off, but it didn't taste bad. It's topped with sweet and sour sauce that I didn't care too much for. We also got a salad that came with this delicious dressing and miso soup that was super flavorful. As for our entrées, my boyfriend got the filet mignon and lobster dish and I ordered the shrimp, scallops, and lobsters dish. In my opinion, it was a tad bit too salty. And I love all things salty!! Or maybe my taste buds were off tonight. I tried my boyfriend's filet mignon, and I'm not a meat/beef person AT ALL but it was pretty soft! I can now see how people say how certain types of steaks can just melt in your mouth. Finished our meal off with red bean tempura ice cream. Pretty good! Overall, it was pretty good here!
