Went here for lunch of July 4th. I can't say enough about how delicious everything was. I love a place that can change their menu based on what is available locally at a certain time of year. If you enjoy biscuits, I recommend Maw Maw's Cast Iron Biscuits with the bacon jam, it was a spectacular salty and sweet appetizer (and a huge portion as well, easily big enough for two people). I also ordered the deviled eggs and they did not disappoint, the goat cheese and bbq spiced mushrooms adding flavors that you don't normally get at family reunions on this popular and simple dish.
For the entre I went with the Crab Cake Sammy with the special side of the day (sauteed zucchini) and it was probably the best crab cake I've ever had in Charlotte. It comes with a very light ramoulade that compliments it perfectly. I also ordered the Farmer's Salad for the table and if you're like me and think that vinaigrette is the only salad dressing that matters, this salad will hit the spot. Excellent assortment of local farmer's market veggies that complimented the crab cake perfectly.
I can't wait to go back and try some of their brunch and dinner selections. One of the best restaurants in uptown Charlotte!
