  • "Lifetime Fitness: give us your credit card and you'll regret it for a lifetime." There are so many other places to exercise, stay far, far away from here. Lifetime Fitness should only rank on your "never" list. This "club" is a hot pot of deceit, lies, and filthy corporate business practices. Companies like this are the reason Americans are angry at Big Business. Volumes could be written about Lifetime's crimes against its customers, so I'll just add one of mine for now. After they confirmed the cancellation of my membership, I was slammed with a $380 charge. And not right afterwards, I'm talking 3 months afterwards. No explanation. When I inquired (wouldn't you?) I was told that my cancellation "hadn't gone through" and these were back-charges for the months since. $380 is still MUCH more than my monthly rate times 3. They invented that number for s&g. For a second time Lifetime Fitness promised to cancel for me, though without providing any proof as to why I should believe them. This time the cancellation magically "went through." Bravo. And the $380? Gone, never to be recovered. But here, have this one extremely valuable 7-day guest pass!!!!! Talk about insult to injury.
