I am OBSESSED with Gordon Ramsay and Masterchef.
I wanted to take my BFF here for her bday and had a really hard time getting a res for a decent time. The only times that were available on open table (I checked multiple times) and when I called were at 4:30 pm. Granted I only asked for weekend nights - but I would take that into consideration. If you want to eat here plan ahead or if you are visiting and staying at a hotel, use the concierge to book the res!
So I've gone to restaurants with better atmosphere or that are more instagrammable but the food here MORE than makes up for that and that is what really matters right?!
For drinks, we both got the acai antioxidant - so refreshing, kinda sour, would totally drink like 3. For appetizers, we ordered the half dozen oysters and the smoked beef tartare. BEST OYSTERS EVER, so fresh and delicious. You HAVE to get them if you at all like oysters. The beef tartare had a cool table presentation, but was really rich and filled us up. I would only order again if I came back with a group of people to share it with. We ordered the mushrooms as a side. My friend loved them. It was probably too rich for me especially bc most of what we ordered was VERY rich.
Entrees - RIB CAP and beef wellington. The server sold me on the rib cap and it was straight up the BEST steak I have ever eaten. So fatty and delicious. Honestly, I was too focused on that to remember the filet in the beef wellington that we shared but the potatoes/mini carrots were good with that dish. Overall, we ordered too much food that was too rich so it was difficult to finish everything. If you order the rib cap and oysters you will walk away SO SO SO happy.
