| - I go back and forth about reviewing this place at all. I don't think they're intentionally out to rip anyone off, but their customer service is lacking.
I bought a 2014 Crosstrek from this dealership. I spent a lot of time back-and-forthing with the dealership to get a decent deal.
As soon as the purchase happened, little things started going wrong.
They didn't know how to input the numbers correctly into the computer to get the payment right. It took a couple different people some time to figure it out. (ultimately this was incorrectly done.) -really, no big deal here.
They asked me to sign the paperwork with the mileage starting 212 miles on it, when I got in the car at delivery, it had 397 miles on the odometer. I bought this fact up and the lease guy said it was no big deal and just sign. So I did. -no biggie here either.
They delivered the car with the interior dirty. I don't really understand this one. As I was looking at the vehicle before signing I even pointed out to the guy that the doors were spotty and it look like something had been spilled on the doors and seats. He said they would clean that up while I was signing the paperwork. They didn't. I took the car to Danny's afterwards to clean it up. They did offer to pay for this after I brought it to their attention- so that was something. I didn't think it was that big of a deal so I moved on.
Then they had to call me back into the dealership to resign paperwork as they had done it incorrectly. I don't live close to the dealership, so that was an added expense of time and gas. I was beginning to get irritated with all the little things, but I didn't say anything. I just resigned and went about my day. Again, not a huge deal. All these little things are adding up, however.
So I knew the payment day was approaching but hadn't received the paperwork. I was guessing the payment date would get moved with all the mess up of the paperwork. I was wrong.I should have known better as they asked me to sign backdated paperwork. I received my letter from Subaru finance the very day the payment was due. THAT DAY. ugh. I get home from work around 6pm...I freaked out as the last thing I need is a late payment on my record. I tried to sign up online, but they said I was too late in the day to get it posted the same day. My only option was to call in and make a payment over the phone through the automated service. They said that would post the same day...if I got everything inputted correctly and it all went through flawlessly. Thankfully, I did.
So, I don't dislike anyone there. The sales guy was terrific while I was there. I guess I'm a little concerned about all the little problems that happen after they get the money.
They reassure me time and again that no more problems would happen...then more problems.
I've had 4 leases from Acura. I never had to complain about one single thing in 12 years. I'm not a complainer in general. It's just been one of those things with this dealership.
I finally sent an email telling them of my disappointment and they didn't even bother to respond.
So I guess they have my money, they aren't so concerned anymore.
I'm hesitant to give them a bad review as these are all little things that individually don't really matter, but they are really starting to add up.
At this point, I'm going to chalk it up to bad luck and hope things improve from here.
Take this information for what its worth!
Thanks.
