CUSTOMERS BE AWARE AND ASK FOR RECEIPT!!! Never thought I would have to rate a gas station!! I will never pump gas at this location ever again!!!!
After training for a new job I was running low gas right about E, remind you I am wearing a long sleeve shirt and dressy pants it's pretty damn hot. I parked at #9 station and went inside gave the cashier Emerald not sure how you spell her name but close $28.00 she verified amount and repeated #9 all confirmed got my receipt and left. I get to my car and I see that she still has not added my money to pump the gas. So this man who is standing there just hanging out kindly says that he will go tell cashier that no GAS IS COMING ON MY PUMP!! As I am waiting I try again to pump gas and nothing yet, and this other lady behind me sees that I am irritated so she kindly tries to help. I explain to her that it's not me, I know how to pump gas it's just not authorized from the cashier for some reason. So I go inside and talk to the cashier she tells me that there is a problem, and shows me receipt that I supposably pumped the gas already. I WAS FURIOUS AND UPSET THAT I WAS LIKE WHAT?? MY CAR HAS BEEN SITTING ON #9!!! now I am pissed off because she says she can't do anything for me, but give me a dollar back since the receipt she showed me show's 27.00. WAIT BUT I GAVE HER 28.00!!! She says that she will need to get a technician to verify that gas was not dispensed and that could take hours, so for me to give her my number and name so they can follow up. She said that she can't be short on her register so that is that. So of course I get loud and raise my voice and tell her that I am not going anywhere until she gives me gas that I paid for!!!!! SHE RUDLEY RESPONSES WELL YOUR GOING TO WAIT FOR HOURS!!! REALLY?? THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE WOW...I HAVE A RESON TO BE UPSET!!! THIS CASHIER RUDLEY START HELPING SOMEONE ELSE WHEN I AM STILL PRESENT IN FRONT OF HER!!! So I ask to speak to the manager and of course she was no help at all same thing the cashier told me she told me. I even proceeded to tell the manager that I gave her my last cash and will be stranded and how unfair this is. I ask her if there is anything else she can do for me she said no that is all. Now I've worked customer service and have years of management experience and know that things can be done!!! THERE IS A THING CALLED PETTY CASH!! No whatsoever customer service care at all. I asked the manager to give me corporates number and she said she didn't have it that I can go back inside and get it. So I go back inside to get corporate # and I spoke to larry the other cashier and got corporates # they of course did not answer.The other cashier is trying to have feelings now and offer me $10.00 gas now don't get me wrong, but I rather be stranded then take money from someone who just made things worse for me and cheated me and made me look like I pumped my gas and poor service. I said no thanks I am good.Now larry he was awesome very helpful and offered me something to drink and was very kind! I ask larry for the receipt that showed I pumped my gas and I realize that it shows 27.00 and products bought in store. I check out my receipt and bam the cashier messed up and send my money to pump #8!!! So larry calls manager and confirms that I been sitting on #9 this whole time so he gives me my gas finally!! I walk out and my mind wanted to say to the cashier pay attention to where you direct the gas but I am better than that and walked out. Attention corporate retrain employee and make sure they make you look good not bad and unprofessional. Have them not have cell phones on them while on the clock, because I witness her answer her phone while helping customers on the clock how unprofessional is that. You need a duplicate of larry he was great and professional.
