  • After walking along the beach on a cold wintery day we needed something to eat and spotting the Green Eggplant Restaurant we decided to try it out. My partner was interested in a breakfast special that was advertised on their sign outside. Inside the place is much larger than it appears from the outside and we were surprised to find it a lot emptier than expected. Once we opened the menu it made sense why the place was so empty. The menu which wasn't really mediterranean at all was really just a glorified diner with inflated prices. We were shocked at the prices but had already ordered some tea. Sad to say that while the food was no better or no worse than any other Toronto diner the price for what we received was ridiculous. We will not be back.
