YUM! This place not only has cute decor, but also great food and friendly, helpful service.
I sat at the bar since I came here alone while I'm visiting town for work. I had seen such great reviews which led me to come here as my first dining experience in the city.
The bartender was very friendly and attentive (I didn't catch his name but he had a man bun so shout out to him for management, he was great!). I started with the grapefruit mojito which both looked and tasted great.
Next I ordered a bruschetta trio:
- Manchego quince & Spanish chorizo
- Avocado, sweet corn, charred scallion & feta
- Brussels sprout, whipped goat cheese, prosciutto & sherry gastrique
They were all delicious but my favorites were the Brussels and manchego ones. I also liked that they were pretty sizable but each piece was also cut into 3 smaller bites to make it a bit easier to eat (although still messy!).
I also ordered the lamb meatballs and omg - flavor heaven!! I typically never eat lamb but these has such amazing flavor and has an in-house made tzatziki sauce which was just *muah* The bartender who served me described these best as a type of deconstructed gyro - hey come with grilled, slices pita slices as well. Again, sizable portion as well.
This place was great and I do not have enough old things to say - glad I stopped here on my trip!
