Very disappointed in the service at this salon. There were two women working, one apparently was more experienced and training the other. Unfortunately I ended up with the trainee. She cut the entire side off of one toenail -- literally digging down into my skin to cut off the ENTIRE SIDE. Fifteen hours later it is still tender & hurts. Then she continued to dig under another toe nail with a cleaning pick until I jerked my foot back in pain & said "That hurts!!!" I really should have gotten up and left right then. [I'm still mad at myself for not doing so-- something weird happens in these situations & I get paralyzed - caught between self-preservation & appearing rude. And not wanting to spear rude usually wins. How weird is that?!?] The more experienced woman setup my manicure so I had hoped that would go better. But after she shaped my nails she said something about running behind & turned the gel polishing over to the trainee. Bad idea. I was getting a French mani & apparently they thought this was a good learning opportunity? She supervised the first hand- having her correct each nail. But then her client came in so she left to attend to her. (And I heard her tell her client 'You're late! I'm adding $5!')
So I have one very sore toe & one hand with a wonky French mani. I will NEVER go here again- and I would tell everyone I know to avoid it too.
