  • I don't go to bike shops all that often, but Shadetree saved my ass after snapping my chain (and conveniently not having ANY of my chain tools or parts in my pack) commuting home from work on Trail 100. Not too far off of the trail, and a good selection of parts and bikes. Open til 6p, so perfect for me if I happen to get in a jam again. The guys had the link I needed, let me borrow their fancy chainbreaker, and I was on my way home in a matter of minutes. Very clean, well organized shop and maintenance area. Prices are good for labor, so I'll likely have them swap some rims for me down the road. They do shop rides on Thursdays and Sundays. If you ever wondered where all the super fast Grunion guys on Strava come from, this is their shop...
