Having visited the market twice in the last week I was not overly impressed by it and most of the time it did not feel very xmasy.
The food on offer was pretty rubbish and the sausages and hot dogs which are a big thing in my home towns Xmas market were rubbish and bland.
Stores were spread out around the districts various lanes so it go pretty annoying trying to navigate around whilst avoiding being run over by prams and knocking over kids. I guess the market is more family orientated which is why.
The heat lamps were a good idea as gave a chance to stand around, trying to take in the atmosphere while remaining warm but the fire pits meant going home smelling like a BBQ.
Having the various distillery district shops and art galleries mixed in also ruined the feel.
On the plus side the mulled wine was nice along with the samples of alcohol they had on the Saturday.
