I purchased a six package laser groupon. I started attending in September and completed five sessions. The clinic is nice, the employees are alright- some were better than others (mostly in terms of trying to upswell which can get uncomfortable). The appointment themselves were good but seemed rushed- laser on the whole face spent no more than five minutes with the actual machine on so I was usually in and out in 15 minutes which I'm not sure is normal. The results have been ok - some reduction. I was thinking of booking blue light for my acne after my 5th session, and when I asked about 6th session, they told me I was done my package. When I called to inquire, they said since I had to rebook two appointments it was taken away or I could pay the cancellation fee and get it back (no one ever said this to me when I have to rebook due to getting in an accident that morning). I was so confused because the tech at my fourth session said I had two left. When I called they told me to "read the contract more closely" but admitted it was easily missed lol ! The very first session I had to push back a week later (but wasn't even under contract yet and gave more than a week notice) and I rebooked another appointment one of the mornings in November because I got into a car accident that morning (which I explained to the receptionist!). The whole thing felt very snakey and it seemed like they would do whatever to squeeze you out of the groupon. I can't believe when switching the appointment no one said "our policy is this so you'll loose your appointment" - I had absolutely no idea, and sorry I must have missed the fine print. I think it's in poor spirit and it was enough to ensure I don't go back there - it left me feeling cheated !
