I love the Hoover Dam. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the tour used to be way more cool before September 11th, but that's just the way it is. Plus, they really pack people in for each tour. When we got on the elevator we were packed to the limit. I almost question whether we were beyond the safe limit we were so scrunched. On the plus side, our tour guide was great, and knew a lot about the history of the dam. He did a fantastic job...and there were lots of great photo opportunities.
The scenery at Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam is breathtaking. Cars can no longer travel across the Hoover Dam, but a new bridge was constructed instead (the Pat Tillman bridge). The bridge is incredible to see too.
