| - My wife and I had been wanting to go to Cure for some time, and finally found a suitable occasion. The staff was very friendly and Justin, our server, went out of his way to walk us through both the drink menu and the dinner menu. He was knowledgeable and attentive but not overly so. The chicharrones were delicious, and arrived at the table still warm. We snacked on those while deciding on the rest of our meal. Our next course, was the "light" Salumi, and we found it to be the perfect combination of small bites, especially the Speck. For the main course, my wife chose the Hangar steak, and it was so flavorful and tender. I went with Gluttony, which had a decidedly German theme to it, with two types of sausage, a pork tenderloin, and my favorite taste of the night the pig trotter croquette. All this was accompanied by sauerkraut and potatoes. Hence the name Gluttony.
For drinks, I had the gin cocktail and the Mezcal as well. Both were delicious. My wife was pleased to find that they offered Fighting Elleck from Arsenal Cider. Her favorite from that local gem. All in all it was an excellent night, and an excellent meal. We will eat there again.
