  • So I had to spend two nights here while in town on business. I was put on fifth floor so it was quite if nothing else. I arrived after midnight and the desk clerk was sitting in back, but she was professional and got me checked in quickly and sent me up to my room providing good directions and with a warm cookie in hand. I had not eaten dinner because of delayed flight and no meal on flight, so the cookie was at least a welcome snack before going to bed. I had checked before booking there that they had a shop where I could purchase small things like shaving supplies and such, no such shop existed. I was told I would be given 2 drink tickets for each night I stayed, to be used in their bar, no tickets were given. No bottled water was provided in the room, free or otherwise. So I had to drink warm tap water from the faucet. No 24 room service and the much lauded free breakfast consisted of warm scrambled eggs, cold bacon, fresh fruit(not great), less than appetizing hash browns and cold French toast made with thin sliced bread. It was all supposed to be hot but it was not. The handles on the self serve buffet line were sticky, and the table I was told to sit at wasn't clean. I've stayed at many other hotels that don't have a proper restaurant that is lauded as having an award winning Chef, that served a much better breakfast. I ate out for lunch and dinner. The bathroom did not have a walk in shower, it was a shallow tub with a shower nozzle set far to low so I had to bend down to wash my hair(I am 6'2"). Rust on the shower area, and towels were very rough. There was a sitting area in my room with old cheap furniture that was well worn. As soon as I got into my room I cranked the air conditioner down, the room was initially hot(WTH), I never turned the air off the entire time I was there and it never dropped below 66. The bed was comfortable enough but since the room was so hot both nights I slept without sheets or blankets. My final opinion is that this was one of the worst Hotels I have stayed in at this price range. If you are looking for a better Hotel to stay in, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
